6/15 Well we figured it was finally time we upped our game and started getting out ranch known in the English show circuits as well as Western, and we needed a horse that could do it. After weeks of searching for potential canidates, we ended up with Silver. Navigate over to our FB page or her profile to learn her story!
Show Career Kick Off!
5/28 We have some pretty exciting news! We are in the process of getting everything settled in our new facilities (which holy crap this world is beautiful) and we just got back the results of the girls first show. BMEC Twist N Shout took home a blue ribbon, kicking her show career off with 10 points! Drovers Smart and D Luxe did her best and got 5th as well as 4 points, and we couldn't be happier with their performances in the show ring as of late so we turned them out to their new pasture to enjoy some time off.
Some more show entries
5/16 All of our AQH for the EA only horse sale have sold except for one grey mare, if your interested head on over to the forum to check her out! In other news we entered Girly and Lexi into the Aspen Rodeo in both cutting and a reining class. My editing still sucks, but I'd like to think I'm getting better slowly...
First Show and Rein Edit
5/1 Okay okay I know it doesn't seem like much to most of you and the editing is really pretty bad, but I've never been able to figure out how to edit reins, but with a tutorial provided by Raymond Equestrian Center I finally did it! I'm sure it'll take practice for me to get decent at it, but its a start. Here is Drovers Smart and D Luxe in her first show, the GRS First Trail Western Show on EA.
The sun was setting by the time it was their turn, and being as it was her first time riding in a show in years Jacq was nervous. Luckily for her it was just a simple trail show to get back into the swing of things, and let Lexi stretch her legs a bit and get used to the show atmosphere. We are incredibly proud of this little mare for being so calm and well behaved despite some horses that were acting up in the stables. She was responsive and did everything asked by her rider with a willing attitude and no hesitation what so ever.
New Arrival
4/29 Originally we weren't planning on getting another horse so soon...but we saw an auction held by BMEC, and we saw this girl, couldn't pass up the chance to potentially become her new owners. And...we won! Say hello to BMEC Twist N Shout, aka 'Girly'. We are so happy to have her here at IRR and we are excited to see where her show career will lead.
Grand Opening
4/28 We got a little surprise in the form of our very first American Paint Horse, bred by Jester Coleman over at Drovers run. This little mare is flashy and sports an impressive pedigree, with such a sweet and willing temperament we can't wait to see what she can do for us! Meet Drovers Smart and D Luxe! Head on over to our mares page to read more about this gal.
4/18 We aren't quite ready for our grand opening considering we don't have any horses...yet! Right now just working on our website, Facebook page, and finding the new stars of IRR.
